Heightened Behavior

Project description

Ceiling tiles are an ubiquitous architectural feature that are often ignored or even despised. How might we take a building element that is commonly taken for granted and turn it into an attraction that instigates a conversation between the space and occupant? Utilizing sensors to detect motion in a space, the system can form an aggregate of motion in a space. This aggregate motion can data can be utilized in a feedback loop which informs the spatial qualities of the room.
